Craig Schuetz is an important member of the Anthony J. Madonia & Associates team as a Paralegal. Mr. Schuetz brings experience in both real estate and corporate law. A paralegal assists lawyers in preparing and organizing various legal documents for upcoming cases and trials. His main duties include preparing affidavits and correspondence, discussing case details with attorneys and clients and organizing different files for different legal proceedings. Craig Schuetz regularly prepares reports for attorneys, conducts research, investigates facts and develops statements, as well as organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases.
He is an active volunteer at Legal Aid Chicago where he strives to aide others through the Public Benefits Maximization Pro Bono Project. At Legal Aid Chicago, attorneys and other legal professionals work alongside Legal Aid Chicago’s staff to run a variety of pro bono projects. All of these offer a unique opportunity to connect with a diverse population and help us reach clients that might otherwise go unserved.
Mr. Schuetz spends the majority of his time reading and writing. He has published poetry in literary magazines and hopes to complete a novel one of these days. Otherwise, Schuetz and his wife, Katherine, pass the time watching reruns of old shows preferably Perry Mason and Columbo.
Mr. Schuetz received his Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Milwaukee Area Technical College where he had work submitted to the American Bar Association. In 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English from Eastern Illinois University.
