Bruce B. Jackson is an experienced Commercial Transactions and Litigation Attorney. He has extensive experience representing corporations, financial institutions and individuals in complex commercial transactions. Mr. Jackson has represented clients in domestic and international markets. He has a simple, straight-forward mantra do the right thing – for the client, by the client and with the client.
For over 30 years, Bruce B. Jackson has worked with corporations. They range from companies with annual revenues up to $85 million, small business owners serving their communities and individuals pursuing their dreams. The industries represented include banking, manufacturing, retail/commercial automotive and tire sales and service, funeral and cemetery, van line moving and storage, multinational franchisees, dentists/orthodontists and religious institutions. The larger corporations operate both domestically and in China and/or Europe. The small businesses are, for the most part, family owned. Bruce has represented several professional football athletes and one former mayor of Chicago.
In 2010, Bruce B. Jackson has served as a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Law and Distinguished Practitioner in Residence at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Washington, D.C.. Additionally, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois since 2001. At both institutions, he taught commercial transactions (consumer and business banking law: negotiable instruments, secured transactions). In addition, he also taught real estate transactions and partnership law.
Jackson completed his Juris Doctorate at John Marshall Law School. This was after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is an ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate. Moreover, he served stateside, as well as with the 11th Armored Calvary in Germany. His experience as a military officer and being employed by a Fortune 500 companies provides Bruce B. Jackson quite the knowledge base. He uses this and his insightful perspective to successfully handle complex legal matters in both the court room and the board room. In addition to his practice, Jackson spends time mentoring young people interested in law as a profession.

Bruce B. Jackson served in the United States Army for 4 years right out of college. He attended the Infantry Officer’s Basic Course and Army Ranger School in Ft. Benning, Ga and was then assigned to the 14th Armored Calvary Regiment, later the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, attaining the rank of Captain
