Irina Heyer is a talented Certified Public Accountant at Anthony J. Madonia & Associates, Ltd. With over 10 years of experience in public accounting and corporate tax, Ms. Heyer provides valuable support to our clients. She has extensive experience in preparing and reviewing federal, multi-state as well as international tax returns. Her specialized knowledge includes international taxation, corporate compliance and tax planning.
Ms. Heyer has extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Service as she worked at the IRS in their Large Business and International Division for years. She is excited to apply her strong background in tax research, technical analysis and advising on domestic and global tax implications for our clients. Heyer has prepared a multitude of federal and tax returns for individuals and corporations including high-net-worth corporations, partnerships and individuals.
With her excellent communication skills and management experience, Irina will be a valuable asset to our tax division. Irina Heyer has led and coordinated the annual tax filings, quarterly state filings, regulatory filings and reporting for consolidated and affiliated entities such as corporations and partnerships, non-profit organizations and individuals. She wears her skills with confidence and always treats colleagues and clients with respect.
An important aspect of Irina Heyer’s professional disposition is her integrity and attention to detail. While this is admirable in many fields, in accounting it is crucial. She always works with efficiency without sacrificing effectiveness as she serves the needs of multiple clients on a given day.

Ms. Heyer has a Masters in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School, Devry University. Irina completed her Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance and Auditing at Yaroslavl State Univeristy, Yaroslavl, Russia as well as a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Heyer has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2017 and received a Certification as Controller and Expert Consultant in 2004.
Irina Heyer is a curious and vibrant person who enjoys a wide variety of foods and their connection to people’s culture. She loves exploring new places and if pressed believes that the European Alps and Hawaii may be her favorites. An avid outdoorswoman and skier, Irina also enjoys traveling, hiking, playing the piano and being with friends and family. She is the proud mother of a recent high school graduate who is currently planning for her future. Irina’s household is rounded out with a Westie named Dude and a Himalayan cat named Yoda. Dude is also quite the explorer as he even likes to kayak.
Irina moved to Illinois nearly 20 years ago and is proud to call it home. She is originally from Yaroslavl, Russia a historic city in the Golden Ring. Her personal motto is “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” and believes it can apply to both work and personal life.
