Olga Gitman is a capable Senior Tax Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at Anthony J. Madonia & Associates, Ltd. As a tax accountant, Ms. Gitman will prepare and file complex tax returns on behalf of clients, compile supporting financial statements and documents, review returns prepared by other accountants and will assist with federal and state tax audits. Additionally, she will respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and perform tax research to stay up to date on tax law changes.
The role of a tax accountant requires strong technical and communication skills to coordinate with staff, managers and clients to ensure timely, quality delivery of both simple and complex tax projects. Olga Gitman received her CPA license in 2019. She completed a Professional Accounting Certificate at the College of Lake County. Prior to immigrating to the United States, Ms. Gitman completed an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the Belarusian Institute of Law. An enthusiastic chef, Olga Gitman considers the culinary arts as a personal passion. Additionally, she enjoys ice skating, yoga, playing piano and chess (but not at the same time). Olga is an inquisitive and intrepid traveler and loves exploring new places. She lives in Vernon Hills with her husband and teenage daughter.
