Michaela Allen joins us after years as an Associate Attorney at Castlebrook Law, P.C. While there she represented clients in family law matters that included divorce, parentage, child support and more. In this capacity she also prepared estate planning documents and advised clients on asset distribution and succession planning. In her career she has also conducted residential real estate closings and assisted in preparing contracts, deeds and closing documents. Her focus on client relations and attention to detail builds on the excellence in client relations we aspire to.
Allen is committed to providing legal services during situations that can be personally difficult to clients. Her experience with people experiencing family struggles has given her a rocksteady base to working with clients at any stage of life. Michaela is at the beginning of her legal career and brings an enthusiasm to learn the ropes alongside our more seasoned attorneys.
An Illinois native, Allen only left for undergraduate and law school before returning to her roots. She enjoys living near her parents and two sisters. She is recently married and they are discussing adding to their family…with a dog.
A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, Allen received her Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
When not working on legal matters, Michaela can be found cheering on just about any sport but prefers hockey. She also loves crosswords and her cycling class.
