March of Dimes Names the Madonias as 2026 Ambassador Family
Earlier this month, Nick and Alaina Madonia were honored by the March of Dimes Construction & Transportation Awards as the 2026 Ambassador Family. At a luncheon that honors those in the construction and transportation industry who have demonstrated exceptional achievements. For 88 years, March of Dimes has been a trusted resource and source of support for families.
The Madonia’s were selected to honor their past struggles and celebrate their creation of the Loving Leo Joseph Foundation. Their foundation helps other families who experience pregnancy and infant loss by connecting hospitals with Cuddle Cot donations as well as raising awareness. Through this foundation they honor Leo’s memory by helping other families know they are not alone.
The Madonias spoke at the award luncheon with honest emotion about their journey and how they value the March of Dimes recognition. Nick and Alaina were joined at the lunch by their children, Nella and Wyatt. Also in attendance were the proud parents of Nick and Alaina, Tony and Jenny Madonia and Mike and Leanne Glabinski.
